Power, Plugs and Voltage: International Buyer's Guide

Buying a spanking machine from another region adds one extra step: making sure the plug fits your wall and the voltage matches your grid. The Spankmachine X1 ships in EU, UK and US plug variants, but international shoppers should still check the basics.

Pick the right plug type at checkout

Plug type C/F (EU), G (UK) and A (US/Japan) are the three options at checkout. Choose to match your wall outlet. If you live somewhere else, an adapter may work but check the voltage first.

Voltage: 110V vs 220–240V

Modern spanking machines use a switching power supply that auto-detects 100–240V. That means the same machine works on every grid, with the right plug adapter. Older or budget models may be voltage-locked — verify before importing.

Avoid cheap travel adapters

Most travel adapters are rated for low-wattage devices like phone chargers. A spanking machine motor pulls more current. Use a grounded adapter rated for at least the wattage on the machine's label.

Surge protection

Plug into a surge protector, especially in regions with unstable grid voltage. A €15 protector is cheap insurance for a multi-hundred-euro device.

In summary

Pick the right plug at checkout, confirm the machine is dual-voltage if you are importing, and use a properly rated adapter and surge protector. Done — you can plug in anywhere in the world.
