Troubleshooting Common Spanking Machine Issues
Most spanking machine problems are not hardware faults. They are pairing glitches, loose bolts or low-battery remotes — all fixable in under a minute. Here are the issues we see most often and the fixes that actually work.
Remote will not pair
Replace the remote battery first. Old batteries cause weak signal long before they die completely. Then re-pair: hold the pairing button on both machine and remote for five seconds. If the LED still does not flash, power-cycle the machine at the wall.
Motor stalls or hesitates
Check the impact attachment is fully seated and the arm is not bent. A loose attachment causes drag the motor reads as resistance. If the issue persists at low speed with no attachment, the motor may need service — contact support.
Attachment is loose
Re-check the locking ring. It should be hand-tight, not tool-tight. If the threads feel stripped, contact support — never operate with a wobbly attachment.
Unusual noises
A new humming sound is normal for the first few hours of use as bearings settle. Persistent grinding is not — stop using the machine and contact support. Photos and a short video help diagnosis.
In summary
Battery, pairing, attachment seating — those three checks resolve almost every reported issue. Keep the support email saved in your phone for the rare cases that need a human.
