Returns & Right of Withdrawal

As a consumer you have the right to dissolve your purchase within 14 days of receipt without giving any reason. This is the statutory right of withdrawal under EU Directive 2011/83/EU and article 6:230o Dutch Civil Code.

On top of the statutory 14 days we voluntarily grant an additional 16 days — totalling 30 days — provided the sealed packaging is fully unopened and in original condition.

Under article 6:230p sub f Dutch Civil Code, the right of withdrawal does NOT apply to sealed products that, for reasons of health protection or hygiene, are not suitable for return once the seal has been broken after delivery.

In concrete terms: as soon as you open the sealed packaging of a Spankmachine product, the right of return lapses. We do not accept returns of opened packaging, also not within the 14- or 30-day window.

If you find that the product is defective or damaged on arrival, please contact us within 7 days of receipt at contact@spankmachine.com. We will arrange a free replacement or full refund. All products also carry a 24-month manufacturer's warranty.

Follow these steps to exercise your right of withdrawal:

• Within the cooling-off period, send an email to contact@spankmachine.com with your order number, or use the model withdrawal form (see below).
• We will send you a confirmation with return instructions within 1 business day.
• Send the unopened product within 14 days after your notification at your own cost to our return address.
• Include a track & trace receipt so the shipment is traceable.
• Upon receipt and inspection you will receive the full purchase amount (including original shipping costs) within 14 days, refunded to the same payment method.

The direct cost of returning the goods is borne by the consumer. We do not provide a free return label. We recommend using a shipping method with track & trace — we are not liable for lost return shipments.

All products carry a 24-month manufacturer's warranty from the date of delivery. This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights under Dutch law regarding conformity (art. 7:17 Dutch Civil Code).

The right of withdrawal applies only to consumers and not to business buyers. Purchases by businesses cannot be returned, unless there is a defect or incorrect delivery.
